Rules this calculator applies for you
- 18% GST on Flipkart’s fees, shown separately because a GST-registered seller claims it back.
- TCS of 0.5% and TDS of 0.1% on the value before GST. They come off your payout, but both are credited back to you, so they are not counted as costs.
- Your product GST is taken out of the selling price before profit, because it belongs to the government.
Checked on 2026-09-25 against: Flipkart Seller Hub — Fees and Commission · Flipkart Stories — zero commission across fashion · GST Council — Notification 15/2024-Central Tax (TCS) · Finance (No. 2) Act 2024 — TDS on e-commerce. Marketplaces change their fees; always check your own rate card.
How this calculator works it out
- Profit on a delivered order = selling price without GST − Flipkart fees (before GST) − product cost − packing − ads.
- Bank payout = selling price − fees − GST on fees − TCS − TDS. This is the figure to compare with the bank payout on your settlement report.
- Margin = profit ÷ selling price. ROI = profit ÷ what you spent (product, packing and ads).
- Average profit per order shipped = delivered share × profit − RTO share × loss per RTO − return share × loss per return. A return costs the charges, the packing and the part of the product you lose. An RTO costs its charges and the packing.
- Break-even price = the lowest selling price at which you stop losing money, first on a delivered order, then on an average order once returns and RTO are counted.
An estimate for one product. Your real orders are messier.
Real settlements move from order to order: offers, weight disputes, returns that settle next month, claims, and fees you did not expect.
MyrrenReco reads your actual Flipkart order and payment reports and shows, for every order, what you were paid, what was deducted, and your real profit after returns and RTO. It also shows orders that were never paid.
Questions
Why do I have to type my own fees?
Flipkart’s commission, fixed fee and shipping change with your category, your seller tier, the item’s weight and the delivery zone, and Flipkart updates them from time to time. A table copied onto a website goes out of date. Your own rate card or last Settlement Report is always right for you.
Where do I find these fees?
In Flipkart Seller Hub, open a recent settlement report from your payment reports. Each order line shows the commission, fixed fee, collection fee, shipping fee and any reverse shipping fee. Your category rates are in your rate card in Seller Hub.
Does Flipkart charge commission on products under ₹1,000?
Flipkart’s Seller Hub fees page says 0% commission on all products priced below ₹1,000, and 0% across the Fashion category at any price. Other fees, such as the fixed fee and shipping, can still apply. Check your own rate card for your category.
Why is my bank payout higher than my profit?
The payout still contains your product GST, which you owe to the government, and it has not paid for your product, packing or ads yet. Profit is what is left after all of those.
Are TCS and TDS a cost?
No. Flipkart holds them back, but TCS is credited to your GST cash ledger and TDS counts against your income tax. They lower the payout, not the profit.
What return and RTO rates should I use?
Your own. Look at the last few months of orders for this product: how many came back from buyers, and how many were never delivered. If you are new, try a few values to see how sensitive your profit is.
Can I trust the result for my whole business?
