How to find missing Flipkart and Meesho payments

Your orders say delivered, but did the money actually arrive for every one of them? Here is how to check your Flipkart and Meesho payments order by order, which gaps are only timing, and what to do about the ones that are real.

Why a payment can look missing

Before you raise anything, rule out the gaps that are only timing or bookkeeping:

  • Not due yet. Orders are often paid in a later cycle, so an order delivered at the end of a month is usually paid in the next one.
  • Paid in a different report. Payments are listed by payment date, not order date. An order from one month can be paid, returned or adjusted in the next month’s payment report.
  • Paid, then reversed. A delivered order that is later returned shows a payment and then a reversal, so the net can be zero or below zero.
  • Paid less than you expected. The line is there, but fees, return charges or offers took more than you planned.

A real gap is a delivered order with no payment at all once its payment date has passed, or a payment that does not match what the order should have paid.

Step 1: download the right reports

For each month you want to check, you need three files from the same marketplace:

  • Flipkart: the Orders report (Seller Hub → Reports → Fulfilment Reports → Orders), and the Settled Transactions payment report (Seller Hub → Reports → Payment Reports) for that month and for the next month.
  • Meesho: the Order Report (Supplier Panel → Orders → Download Order Report), and the Payment Report (Supplier Panel → Payments → Download Payment Report) for that month and for the next month.

The next month’s payment report matters: it is where late payments, returns and RTOs from this month show up.

Step 2: match every order to its money

  1. Use the order’s own ID. On Flipkart that is the Order Item ID — one order can hold several items, each paid separately. On Meesho it is the Sub Order ID.
  2. For each delivered order, find every line with the same ID in both payment reports and add them up. One order can have several lines: the payment, a later deduction, a return, a claim.
  3. Set aside the orders that were returned, came back as RTO, or are simply waiting for a later cycle.

In a spreadsheet, find each order in your payment reports and add up its lines. It works for a few dozen orders. At a few hundred a month it takes hours, and one wrong ID type gives you the wrong answer.

Step 3: check the orders that look wrong

  • Delivered, no payment, past its payment date: this is the one to raise.
  • Paid far less than similar orders: open the order’s line and look at each deduction, such as shipping, fixed fee or return charges.
  • Returned but the product never came back to you: raise a claim with the marketplace.
  • Claimed, but no claim credit on the order line: follow up on the claim.

Raise it through the seller support in Flipkart Seller Hub or the Meesho Supplier Panel, one ticket per issue, with the order IDs listed. Keep the ticket numbers next to the orders so you can check them next month. Save the reports you checked in a folder for that month, so you can share them quickly if support asks for proof. If a reply does not settle the issue, answer on the same ticket with the order ID instead of starting a new one, so the whole history stays in one place.

Make it a monthly habit

Unpaid orders are easy to miss because nothing tells you about them. The only way to know is to check every delivered order against its money each month, once the next month’s payments are in.

MyrrenReco does this for you: upload the same three reports, and it shows which Flipkart and Meesho orders were paid, which were paid short, and which were never paid, along with your real profit per order.
