What is the Meesho payment cycle, and when does Meesho pay?
Meesho’s own supplier pages say it pays the settlement amount into your bank account on a 7-day cycle from order delivery, and that this includes cash on delivery orders. The clock starts at delivery, not when the order is placed or when you dispatch it. Check the exact dates in your Supplier Panel and in the Payment Date column of your Payment Report.

When does the Meesho payment clock start?
Meesho ties the payment to delivery. Its pricing page says the settlement amount is deposited into your bank account “following a 7-day payment cycle from order delivery, including cash on delivery orders”. Its How it works page says the payment is deposited on day 7 counted from order delivery, again including cash on delivery orders.
So the clock does not start when the customer places the order, and it does not start when you hand the parcel to the courier. It starts when the order is delivered. Meesho’s How it works page gives its own example: a product delivered on 1st January 2022 is paid into your bank account on 8th January 2022.
Both pages also say you can see your deposited balance and your upcoming payments on the Meesho Supplier Panel. That is the first place to look when you want a date for a particular payment.
Is it 7 days or 15 days?
You can find both numbers on Meesho’s own pages. The pricing page and the How it works page say a 7-day cycle from order delivery. An older lesson in the Meesho Learning Hub, “How to Understand First Payments”, says Meesho settles payments every 15 days.
We do not know why the pages differ, and we do not guess. For your own money, the dates that count are the ones Meesho shows you for your account: the next payment in your Supplier Panel, and the Payment Date column in your Payment Report. If those dates and your own count from the delivery date do not agree, go by the panel and the report.
Where do I see my upcoming and past Meesho payments?
In the Payment tab of the Supplier Panel. Meesho’s Learning Hub lesson lists what it shows:
- The next payment.
- The last payment.
- Total outstanding payments, which Meesho describes as an estimate of the payments Meesho owes you.
- Previous payments.
- A tab for the commission tax invoice.
- Deductions and compensations.
For order-by-order detail, download the Payment Report: Supplier Panel → Payments → Download → Payments to Date. Open the sheet “Order Payments”. Each line has a Sub Order No, a Live Order Status, a Transaction ID, a Payment Date and a Final Settlement Amount. Lines with the same Transaction ID were paid in the same transfer, so one bank payment covers many orders.
How is one Meesho payment made up?
Meesho does not pay you one order at a time. One payment into your bank covers many orders, and each order’s line in the Payment Report carries its own Final Settlement Amount, along with the Shipping Charge (Incl. GST), Return Shipping Charge (Incl. GST), TCS and TDS columns. So the amount in your bank is almost never the total of the order values you remember.
That is a question about the amount, not the date, and it has its own guide. Use it when a payment arrives and the figure is lower than you expected.
What happens to returns and RTOs in later cycles?
A customer return happens after delivery. The sale is reversed and a return shipping charge is deducted. That can show up on a line in a later Payment Report than the one that paid the sale, which is why it helps to download the next month’s Payment Report as well when you check a month.
An RTO is different. The order was never delivered, so there is no delivered sale to pay for, and Meesho’s pricing page says it does not charge a return shipping fee for RTOs.
What does a payment timeline look like?
If the order had been delayed in transit and delivered on 10 March instead, the count would start from 10 March, not from 2 March or 3 March.
How do I plan my cash flow around it?
You pay for stock, packing and your own costs before Meesho pays you. The gap between spending the money and receiving it is longer than it looks, because the count starts at delivery, not at dispatch, and a parcel can take time to reach the customer. A few plain habits help:
- Plan restocking around the dates in your Supplier Panel, not around the day you dispatched.
- Do not spend a payment before it is in your bank. A return or a deduction can make it smaller than you hoped.
- Treat the total outstanding payments figure as an estimate, because Meesho itself calls it one.
- Keep a small buffer for returned orders, since a return reverses the sale.
- Keep a list of orders that are delivered but not yet paid, and check the list against each new Payment Report.
When a delivered order has not been paid after the date your panel shows, the next step is a check, not a complaint. The late payment guide gives the checklist.
