Free Meesho payment reconciliation Excel template
This free Excel template checks your Meesho payments order by order. You paste the Sub Order No lines from your Meesho Order Report and Payment Report, and it adds up every payment line for each order, compares the total with what you expected, and marks each order OK, Paid less, Paid more or Not paid yet. It works in Microsoft Excel and needs no sign-up.

What is inside the template?
The file has three sheets:
- How to use: the steps, so they are with the file when you open it next month.
- Orders: one row per order. You paste Sub Order No, Order Date, SKU and Reason for Credit Entry into columns A to D, and type the Expected amount (₹) in column E. Columns F to I fill themselves: Received (₹), Payment lines, Difference (₹) and Result.
- Payments: one row per payment line. You paste Sub Order No, Payment Date, Final Settlement Amount (₹) and Live Order Status into columns A to D.
The formulas on the Orders sheet run down to row 2001, so it is ready for 2,000 orders. For more, copy the formulas in columns F to I further down.
Which Meesho reports do I need?
- The Order Report: Supplier Panel → Orders → Download Orders Data. It has Sub Order No, Order Date, SKU, Quantity and Reason for Credit Entry.
- The Payment Report: Supplier Panel → Payments → Download → Payments to Date. Use the sheet “Order Payments”. It has Sub Order No, Supplier SKU, Live Order Status, Transaction ID, Payment Date and Final Settlement Amount, along with the shipping, return shipping, TCS and TDS columns.
- Download the Payment Report for the month you are checking and for the next month. Orders are often paid, returned or adjusted in a later cycle.
How do I fill it in, step by step?
- Download the Order Report and the two Payment Reports from the Supplier Panel.
- Open the template. On the Orders sheet, paste Sub Order No, Order Date, SKU and Reason for Credit Entry from the Order Report into columns A to D.
- On the Payments sheet, paste Sub Order No, Payment Date, Final Settlement Amount and Live Order Status from the “Order Payments” sheet of the first Payment Report into columns A to D.
- Paste the second Payment Report under the first one on the same sheet.
- Back on the Orders sheet, type the Expected amount for each order in column E.
- Read the Result in column I. Use the filter on the header row to show only the orders that are not OK.
Keep Sub Order No exactly as Meesho writes it. If a long number is pasted as a number, Excel turns it into something like 1.23E+17 and it will not match. Paste it as text.
How do I work out the expected amount?
The expected amount is what you expect Meesho to pay for that order, after shipping, TCS and TDS. The free Meesho profit calculator shows it as the bank payout for your selling price. Then:
- Delivered order: type the bank payout from the calculator.
- RTO or cancelled order: type 0. Meesho’s supplier pricing page says it charges 0% commission, no collection fee and no cancellation penalty, and does not charge a return shipping fee for RTOs.
- Customer return: the sale is reversed and a return shipping charge is deducted, so type minus the return shipping charge shown on that order’s line in your Payment Report.
What does each Result mean, and what do I do about it?
- OK: Meesho paid what you expected, within ₹1. Nothing to do.
- Paid less: Meesho paid less than you expected. Look at the Difference, then at each deduction on that order’s lines in the Payment Report.
- Paid more: Meesho paid more than you expected. Check you typed the right expected amount, and whether a claim was paid on that order.
- Not paid yet: you expected money, but no payment line was found. Check next month’s Payment Report first. If a delivered order is still unpaid after that, raise it.
- OK - no payment expected: you typed 0 and no payment was found, as with an RTO.
- Type the expected amount: column E is still empty for that order.
The guide on a lower Meesho payout explains each deduction you might see, and the guide on finding missing payments explains what to send Meesho when you raise an order.
What are the limits of a spreadsheet?
- It checks one month at a time. You need the Order Report for that month and the Payment Reports for that month and the next.
- It is only as good as the expected amounts you type. For a few hundred orders, typing an expected amount for each one takes hours.
- It matches on Sub Order No, so a long number pasted as a number breaks the match.
- It does not see charges that are not tied to one order, such as ads. Check those in the Payment Report yourself.
- It is built for Meesho only.
Questions
Is the Meesho reconciliation template free?
Yes. Download it and use it as often as you like. No sign-up is needed.
Does the template work for Flipkart?
No. It is built around Meesho’s Sub Order No. For Flipkart, see the guide on checking you were paid correctly, which uses the Order Item ID.
Why do I need next month’s Payment Report?
Orders are often paid, returned or adjusted in a later cycle. Without next month’s report, orders that were simply paid later look unpaid.
Which order ID do I use?
The Sub Order No, the same one in the Order Report and in the “Order Payments” sheet of the Payment Report. Paste it as text so it matches.
