- 18% GST inside Meesho’s shipping charge, separated because a GST-registered seller claims it back.
- TCS of 0.5% and TDS of 0.1% on the value before GST. They come off your payout, but both are credited back to you, so they are not counted as costs.

How this calculator works it out
- Profit on a delivered order = selling price without GST − Meesho charges without GST − product cost − packing − ads.
- Bank payout = selling price − Meesho charges − TCS − TDS. Compare it with the final payout on your Payment Report.
- Margin = profit ÷ selling price. ROI = profit ÷ what you spent (product, packing and ads).
- Average profit per order shipped = delivered share × profit − RTO share × packing − return share × (return shipping + packing + the part of the product you lose).
- Break-even price = the lowest selling price at which you stop losing money, first on a delivered order, then on an average order once returns and RTO are counted.

Questions
Does Meesho charge commission?
Meesho’s supplier pricing page says it charges 0% commission across all categories, with no collection fee and no penalty for cancellations. Shipping is charged, with 18% GST on it.
Where do I find my shipping charge?
In the Meesho Supplier Panel, download your Payment Report from Payments. Each order shows its shipping charge, GST included. It changes with the product’s weight and where the buyer is, so use a recent delivered order of the same product.
What does an RTO cost me on Meesho?
Meesho says it does not charge a return shipping fee for RTOs. You still lose the packing, and the product is tied up until it comes back to you.
What does a customer return cost me?
The sale is reversed and a return shipping charge is deducted — you can see it on that order’s lines in your Payment Report. If the product comes back damaged, used or wrong, you lose part of its value too. That is what the "Product lost on a return" field is for.
Why is my bank payout higher than my profit?
The payout still contains your product GST, which you owe to the government, and it has not paid for your product, packing or ads yet. Profit is what is left after all of those.
Are TCS and TDS a cost?
No. Meesho holds them back, but TCS is credited to your GST cash ledger and TDS counts against your income tax. They lower the payout, not the profit.
Can I trust the result for my whole business?
